Marmalade Love

Met some lovely people at the markets yesterday and my latest cushion design using Bonnie and Camille's Marmalade went to a new home.  I absolutely love Marmalade, the tangerine and pale green are my two favourite colours at the moment.  I have some charm packs on order and as soon as they arrive I'll make another.  Until then, I may have to raid my stash (some Fig Tree "Strawberry Fields" would probably be pretty).

Planning to bite the bullet and add some of my hessian baskets to my Etsy site.  Hopefully, I can take some acceptable photos tomorrow and then find my way around the site.  I certainly know my way around as a buyer - just need to get the hang of listing as a seller.

As I said before I will attempt to actually cut some of my Fig Tree stash (oh the pain!).  Joanna's fabrics are so lovely I can barely bring myself to take to them with the rotary cutter.   Although, time and again they come to life when you start cutting and stitching.  Her "Tapestry" range should be in the stores shortly and she also just released some new patterns - I love her  "A Pear in a Tree" pattern - pop over and have a look if you feel so inclined and let me know what you think - would love some feedback for my stall.

Urban Cowgirl Fabric Fun

I feel like I have been waiting forever for this fabric and it sure didn't disappoint when it finally arrived.  The colours are even more beautiful in "real" life.  Just had to make something so whipped up this book cover.

(Hmmm - definitely need to work on the photo skills - better whip out the photoshop manual and start prettying up my photos). Oh well, I am going to overrule the procrastinator in me and post anyway. Have to start somewhere !!

I'm now having a bit of a play with triangles and will probably come up with a new zip purse - they seem to be gaining popularity here in Australia - sometimes we take a little while to catch up.

Is anybody else playing with Urban Cowgirl - would love to see ??
